The process of how I made this project was really time-consuming. I wanted to do a series of funny stories, so I spent a very long time to collect them and draw them on my tablet. I had to record each line I draw, and whole video made up with five stories which is a lot of lines I need to record. After I finished recording part, I transferred all the picture to my computer and did editing in Premiere Pro, connected them piece by piece.

The Last Mermaid
According to the United States Department of Environmental Protection, somewhere between
500 billion and a trillion plastic bags are consumed worldwide each year. There are less than 1% of them recycled. Surprise? That’s the reason why I chose this project. The plastic litter are killing wildlife and damaging our nature environment, especially marine. I have never seen a mermaid in my life. I believe it’s going to be hard for mermaids to survive, even if they do exist in this world. As an artist, what I can do to make a difference in this world is to do projects of this kind; using a visual impact to convince people that our world has never been more dangerous than now.
